To offer items for consideration, the best option is to email us at [email protected]. Photos and the connection the item has to you and to Greenfield will help guide the process. To care for the history of Greenfield responsibly, we must consider three things:
  • Space - do we have the room to store and display the item?
  • Safety - can we provide for any future conservation needs?
  • Story - does the item add to the knowledge of Greenfield history?

The more stories an item can help tell, the better!

A note about military uniforms in particular: we have very little room to accept additional WWI or WWII uniforms. We are grateful for your generosity and we would love to talk with you about how to include your family's service story in the Historical Society of Greenfield in a  sustainable way. We would love to have a picture of your relative in uniform, or an item that signifies their time in service, but we cannot responsibly accept additional woolen uniforms at this time.
