The Historical Society of Greenfield, Massachusetts collections include maps, paintings, tools, clothing, furniture, photographs, fossils, books, memorabilia & other artifacts about local and county history. We take as our guiding inspiration the words of our founder, author Mary P. Wells Smith:
"Today passes on and becomes history before we know it. We are making history all the time. [We must] look out and not in, look up and not down, look forward and not back."
